‘Man from the system’ says no to Hurriyat; not joining any party ‘soon’

Srinagar, Jan 11 (RNA): IAS topper, Shah Faesal Friday said that there were no chances of him joining Hurriyat, as they do not believe in electoral politics and that he was a ‘man from the system.’

Faesal was addressing a presser in Srinagar and said that he resigned to put across a ‘small act of defiance.” He added that he will not be joining any political party ‘soon.’

“By my resignation I am putting across a small act of defiance. I’m protesting against lack of credible political initiative by the central govt that right to life of Kashmiri people are respected,” he said.

While saying no to Hurriyat, Faesal said “I am a man from the system and I would be happy to change things by being in the system. Hurriyat doesn’t give me that opportunity as they don’t believe in electoral politics.”

“I am resigning in protest against lack of political initiative. And denial of justice to people of Kashmir has resulted mass escalation of violence in valley due to which lot of lives have been lost here in recent years.”

“Rise of lynch mob extremism is another reason for my decision,” he added.

While pitching for the return of Kashmiri pandits, Faesal said that “the return Kashmir Pandits should be made possible which the Central government hasn’t done so far.”

Further, “Article 370 and 35A must be guarded to strength the bound between India and JK,: he said, adding that “I wish to remind central government that important, that the right to live of the Kashmiri youth.”(RNA)
