Two Indian soldiers wounded as Pakistan fire Indian posts

Srinagar: Two army soldiers were injured on Wednesday after Indian and Pakistani armies exchange fire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri, in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

As per the officials, Pakistani soldiers resorted to firing at Indian soldiers in Kamalkote area of Uri, wounding a soldier. Indian soldiers retaliated back that triggered a brief exchange of fire between the armies. The injured soldier was later hospitalized.

Senior superintendent of police, Baramulla, Imtiyaz Hussain said that both the solders are stable and undergoing treatment. “Loss and damage on other side not known,” he said.
