Six thousand Pol. Activists join NC during last 10 days in Tangmarg

Srinagar, Mar 14 (RNA): Amid intensified public outreach by buracrate turned politician Farooq Ahamd Shah, thousands of political activists have joined National Conference in last ten day in Tangmarg constituency. A local party spokesman in Tangmarg said   that six thousand people joined the party during extensive visits of Mr. Shah across the Tangmarg constituency during this period. Five hundred alone joined the party on Wednesday from Tantraypora, Darakashi, Ganiwaen and other areas.

Meanwhile Mr. Shah Thursday visited many areas in the Constituency during which he interacted with hundreds of people. During the visit he held various public interactions at Goom Ahamdpora, Khore Sheerabad, Naulari,  Kongamdara  and other adjoining arrears . According to RNA reporter during the interaction, the former IAS officer urged people to vote for National Conference in the upcoming parliament and assembly elections, stating that only National Conference can ensure development and prosperity in the world famed Gulmarg Constituency and elsewhere in the state. He said his priorities would be to bring multi crore road projects, educational institutions including IITs and Tourism skill development institutes to the constituency. Besides, he said he would be  working for the overall development in Tourism,  health, horticulture , PHE, R&B and other sectors in the constituency which not only have the potential to boost the economy in the  area but also bring employment opertunities for the local youth .

Farooq Shah vowed to bring transparency in the system and said, he would ensure equitable development in all the areas of the constituency.

Earlier nearly five hundred political activists had joined National Conference from   several other areas including Ganiwaen , Tantraypora , Darakashi etc on Wednesday.

Meanwhile the NC caders are upbeat by the Shah’s nomination for assembly elections and have pledged support to him in the assembly polls as well as to the party candidate for parliament elections. They said the revival of NC in the Tangmarg constituency is immenent and nobody would be able to stop the momentum of NC caders in the Constituency now. (RNA)
